Quickly and easily generate AI summaries and subject lines of tickets

Use the AI Subject Generator by TurboAgent to easily create AI powered summaries whenever needed, either on-demand, triggered by a tag, or automatically when a ticket is solved.

The summary can update the ticket's subject line, or populate a custom text field for flexible and easy ticket analysis.

Initial set up is quick and easy, and most new users are up and running in under 10 minutes.

The AI Subject Generator uses your existing OpenAI account and API key, and stores all data on your Zendesk instance. This makes it an affordable and secure alternative to complex, expensive apps that store your data on their own servers.

The AI Subject Generator integrates with OpenAI's ChatGPT service. To get started, you will need an OpenAI API key which can be obtained on the OpenAI Platform Dashboard.

If you haven't generated an OpenAI API key yet, you can do so by following these steps:

First, generate your OpenAI key if you haven't done that yet.

  1. Sign up or log in to the OpenAI Platform
  2. Navigate to “API keys” in the left menu

  3. Click “Create new secret key” in the top right

  4. Choose a service account to be the key owner

  5. Enter a service account ID that you will recognize, like “turboagent”

  6. Choose a project, or leave “Default project” selected

  7. Copy the generated key and store it somewhere safe and accessible

Next, set up the app in Zendesk Admin.

  1. Click on the 'Install' button

  2. Once the installation is complete

  3. Open the AI Subject Generator app settings in Zendesk Admin

  4. Paste the key in the “OpenAI API Key” field

  5. Click “Update”

Optionally, update your settings in Zendesk Support. Click on the AI Subject Generator button on the left rail to access the following app settings: * Choose the OpenAI model you would like to use * Choose the field you want the AI Subject Generator to write to (default is the subject field, but any text field can be used) *Modify the AI prompt

Your app is now configured to generate AI summaries! As summaries are generated, OpenAI will keep track of your spend.
