smao is an AI-powered phone assistant that handles incoming calls and lets you define automated workflows based on call events. smao turns every call into a structured, actionable process. Zendesk Integration
The smao-Zendesk integration allows you to create Zendesk tickets directly from within smao workflows. When a caller triggers a defined workflow - for example, requesting support - smao can automatically create a fully populated ticket in Zendesk, including ticket type, priority, tags, and the associated contact.
Key capabilities:
- Automatically create Zendesk tickets from call-triggered workflows
- Populate tickets with fields, tags, and caller data
- Optionally sync contacts between smao and Zendesk
Data & Privacy
This integration accesses the Zendesk API on behalf of the authorizing user. The following data is accessed and, where noted, stored by smao:
- Ticket fields and tags - loaded and cached to enable workflow configuration
- Contacts (users) - read and written when contact sync is enabled, stored in smao to match callers to Zendesk contacts
- OAuth credentials - stored securely to maintain the authorized connection
Tickets are created via the API but not stored in smao. All data is processed within the EU. No data is sold.
