About this app
Your team's websites, where the work happens
Stop hunting for bookmarks. Dual Frame gives agents a shared menu for reference pages, web tools and dashboard links inside Zendesk. Add an address, name it and choose where it appears—no iframe code required.
Keep useful resources close
Organize up to 20 websites in one searchable menu.
Put a resource in full navigation, the ticket sidebar, the top-menu pop-up—or all three.
Open compatible pages in the app; use a new tab when embedding is restricted.
Compare two compatible pages side by side with optional workspace tools.
Keep setup simple, with optional group visibility and ticket-condition starting pages.
Use troubleshooting guides, product references, calculators, status pages and compatible live dashboards. Supported Zendesk Explore, real-time monitoring and Help Center links open in a new tab with existing permissions.
How it works
An administrator opens Home and selects Add Website.
Enter the address and name, then choose locations. HTTPS is added automatically; opening preferences and groups are optional.
Save and refresh Zendesk. Agents choose a website from their menu.
Data and privacy
Configuration stays in Zendesk installation settings. Group menus read membership; optional ticket rules read configured ticket fields locally. Ticket fields are not automatically sent to websites. External pages receive browser requests and handle their own sign-in and data. New addresses may receive anonymous header checks through Zendesk. Favorites are browser-local; support details are sent only on Send. Privacy policy.
Before you install
Requires administrator setup, a Zendesk Support plan supporting apps and supported HTTPS addresses. Website framing and sign-in rules still apply. General query strings and fragments are unsupported; recognized Zendesk links are exceptions. Menus do not grant destination access. Separate windows start fresh; unsaved work does not transfer.

如何安裝
- Install Dual Frame as a Zendesk administrator and open it from the navigation menu.
- On Home, select Add Website. Paste a supported address, review the suggested name and choose Navigation, Ticket sidebar, Top menu or a combination.
- Leave Optional settings closed for a simple setup. Open them to choose New tab only, limit visibility to groups, or mark a page as requiring sign-in. Website permissions still apply.
- Select Save website, then refresh the entire Zendesk browser tab. Test the resource in each selected location. On Home, Workspace tools can enable optional favorites and side-by-side viewing; Ticket starting pages can select a page from ticket conditions.
Questions before you start
Will every website embed? No. Websites can block framing or require authentication that does not work in an iframe. Confirmed restrictions use a new tab. An inconclusive check is not proof that embedding will work.
Can I use reporting and Help Center links? Supported Zendesk Explore, real-time monitoring and Help Center links open in a new tab; the destination's licenses and permissions still apply. External dashboards need a supported URL and their provider's permission to embed.
What happens on uninstall? Plan to reconfigure the website catalog after reinstalling. Destination accounts and data are independent; browser-local preferences and previously created support tickets can remain. Keep a copy of your website settings before uninstalling.
