ULTATEL for Zendesk

The ULTATEL integration connects the ULTATEL cloud phone system with Zendesk so agents can manage phone interactions and customer information without leaving Zendesk.

The integration provides:

• Click-to-dial from Zendesk contact and account information.

• Incoming and outgoing call notifications with relevant caller information.

• Access to customer and account context during calls.

• Call activity and call-related information associated with Zendesk records.

• The ability to create or update contacts and tickets during a call.

• Support for multiple Zendesk browser tabs and interactions.

The integration is cloud-based and does not require additional desktop software for the core Zendesk integration.

Data Access, Use, and Storage

To provide the integration, ULTATEL may access and process Zendesk data required for the features described above, including:

• Agent and user information, to authenticate users and associate actions with the appropriate agent.

• Customer and contact information, to identify callers and display relevant customer context.

• Phone numbers, to identify callers and provide click-to-dial functionality.

• Ticket and related record information, to create, update, and associate call-related activity with Zendesk records.

• Call-related information, to provide call notifications and associate calls with the appropriate Zendesk records.

ULTATEL uses this information to authenticate and operate the integration, provide calling and customer-context features, associate call activity with Zendesk records, and provide technical support.

Information required to operate the integration, such as integration configuration and call-related records, may be stored by ULTATEL for these purposes. ULTATEL does not use the data accessed through this integration for purposes unrelated to providing and supporting the integration.
